Source for Stem Cells

DETAIL
Adipose-Derived Stem Cells (ADSC)
Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) are extracted from fat tissue as it undergoes a collagenase digestion.  Since an adult person possess lots of fat, it becomes a feasible and low-cost cell source for the cell therapy, and specially efficient for allogenic use or manufacturing.

■ Chondrocyte
Chondrocytes are the only cells residing in cartilage and maintain the functionality of cartilage tissue. Series of biocomponents such as different growth factors, cytokines, and transcriptional factors regulate the mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) differentiation to chondrocytes. Mainly, chondrocytes of the AC aid in joint articulation, while chondrocytes of the growth plate regulate the growth of the epiphyseal plates.

■ Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC)

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have specific cell / histological differentiation capabilities, perform regeneration / repair functions in injured or alive diseased tissue, and have normal and immunomodulatory effects.

■ Olfactory stem cells
Olfactory neuro cells located in the nasal passageways, and the stem cells cultured from it have a continuous regenerative capability and can be biopsied readily.  Since olfactory stem cells possess the characteristics of long-lasting and less aging properties in comparing to other senses, olfactory stem cell is a preferable source of stem cells.
