Stromal cells or known as fibroblasts, that have impact on tumor and cancer cells growth. They are the type of cells that are suitable for the treatment of skin cancer, blood vessel cancer, myofibroblastoma, cellular angiofibroma, sarcoma and so on. Research found that fibroblasts are likely to be "supporting cells" of cancer stem cells, while metastases "closely surround" cancer stem cells, fibroblasts, and cancer stem cells. Therefore, suppression of cancer growth is often seen by manipulation of fibroblast cells.
